1046 error Nothing I did works..Please help me

Hello, I'm new to oscommerce and this problem came up after I added flash intro to my website that leads to online store. My site is up without the intro now but the store is down with this 1046 error. I went through the forum about the same problem and I checked both configure.php files.

Please someone help me..I appreciate it so much. Thank you..

1046 - No Database Selected

 

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

I have seen this error before and the way I was able to fix it was by redoing the configure.php it seems to loose the info stored once you put the flash intro.

 

Also try make a copy of your configure.php file before making any changes so that you have something to compare with.

You can also get that error message when your database user has not been assigned to the database. Go into your hosting control panel and check to make sure that your database user is actually assigned to the database
