Free shipping per product + Store Pickup

Hello,

Thanks to Denis Witt for Free shipping per product 1.0 which was just what I needed.

(Allows free shipping for particular products store owner indicates in admin, for competive pricing as necessary).

I also have Store Pickup Shipping Module 1.4 (azer 31 Oct 2005)

which works perfectly.

 

The problem:

I want Store Pickup to always appear, whether or not free shipping is activated for a particular pricing.

There is a difference between a customer saying "send it to me" and "I want to come by to pick it up, please have my package and invoice ready".

 

How can I make Store Pickup appear even if the item is tagged for free delivery?

How can I make Store Pickup appear even if the item is tagged for free delivery?

 

An alternative would be to let the user somehow indicate for Free Shipping that he is actually wants to come by.

We currently provide extra text information in the Store Pickup shipping option (our phone number and possible hours). It would be a plus if this wasn't displayed when the customer chooses free delivery.

 

In all cases, we definitely would like it to be written to the order in the database whether he intends to come by or whether we should send the package!

 

All ideas welcome.
