jkx Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I want to ask that is i can remove the osCommerce copyright notice that is on footer of my site. or do i have to purchase it like phpnuke. i hope u understand
AlanR Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Yes. There is an update.html file in the package that nicely shows the changes to make in which files. This was originally going to be provided in PDF format however was saved as HTML to allow copy-and-pasting. There are also other minor changes not described in the changelog like the copyright on the catalog frontend now defaulting to the STORE_NAME value and current year, and the title of the page also using the STORE_NAME value in the language files. The copyright was changed due to legal reasons as osCommerce is not responsible for the content published on installations. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?s=&...ndpost&p=739207 Local: Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Apache 2.2/php 5.3.0/MySQL 5.4.10 • Web Servers: Linux Tools: BBEdit, Coda, Versions (Subversion), Sequel Pro (db management)
