Guest Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I make custom crafts, etc.. One of my main products is custom pens, as such the customer can select the style of pen, material it is made of, etc... Right now when the customer selects the type of material used they get a huge drop down listing all the woods, acrylics, and specialty materials I use. What I am wanting to do it break up the materials into individual drops downs (i.e. materials-woods, materials-acyrlics, materials-specialty). Now i can do that now, but I need some way of keeping the customer from selecting more than one type. (i.e. if the customer selects materials-woods -rosewood, then they won't be able to also select an acrylic or specialty from their drop downs) Does anyone have any idea on how I can do this? Also at other times I need it so that they can select more than one option from the drop down (i.e. I make a teacher's pen made from 3 different types of materials, and would like it to have the option to select up to 3 types of materials in this instance) Thanks for the help! Guest Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 P.S. If you want to see what I currently have going my website is Mutzigcreations.com I would really like a way to make the materials drop down 3 sep. drop downs, with some control of how many materials to select in each. Thanks again! Ravenwulf
