Annoying bug in admin menu

This is not a huge deal, it is just *really* annoying.

 

When I click on the admin menu, lets say "catalog" and then I go to a sub-item it opens the right item but the menu jumps back to "configuration" or another tab instead of staying in catalog.

 

Where can I fix that. As I said, not a huge deal, the store can run with it there, but it is getting on my nerves.
