Genius Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Hi All, I am not sure if this question has been answered, but i would really apprecaite some help. I have installed and set up my site fine. I am using an IIS server (windows based) to host my site. I have created a login page outside the site and that works fine. I would like to to protect the index.php file so is a user wanted to browse the site they must use the login page outside the site. If they type the url address : http://www.mysite.com/store they should not be able to view the site. but must be redirect to the login page.. the only time they can view the index.php (home page of the site) is i they login from outsite. else if they they and type the absolute address they will be kicked out. I have been lookign at .htaccess file and confguration but that only works with apache servers and not windows. is they any way i can do this with a windows setting. please advise. many thanks.
