Brands Lane osCommerce Site

A new site I've been working on (and my first time with osCommerce), is viewable on the test server here: Brands Lane.

It is not quite finished yet, mostly to do with aesthetics. I have extensively reprogrammed the index page and product info pages, as well as the shopping cart. What do you guys think? :D

I like your site alot. Only one thing I want to point out. On my screen (1280 X 1024) I see half a screen of nothing but blank space. Perhaps you may want to add one more row of products to fill in that space. Right now you show 8 products, maybe increase it to 12. That is my only suggestion, but your site looks really clean and professional.

Agreed with the above! Lots of white space - but a nice clean look.

My personal view - but you don't need the customers date of birth! I know for a fact that I lost customers over this (had email telling me) but the good news is you can turn it off from the admin panel very easily!

By the way, I tried to add something to the basket and couldn't...?

Site looks good

Just two things I would suggest:

1. Optimize your images they are way to large.

2. Your shoe sizes are stated in euro sizes. Being from the states I have no idea of what size I would be?

So maybe add a conversion chart?

If only I could remember that.

Your logo in the header is far too wide; it's overshooting the rest of the page. That's why everyone is seeing tons of blank white space. If you could pare that down to end where your right column ends, all fixed.

Thanks for the feedback, guys!

The final resting place for the site is at Brands Lane (.com). Colours have been changed, and the checkout system is still being organized.

I've been having a tough time trying to sort out the different screen sizes which people will use to view the site. I think I've finally got it to a nice setting (you need at least 800 x 600). I have a 1280 x 1024 screen myself... you guys might have been looking at it in an earlier build.

Also, the target audience is mainly European, so worldwide sizes are not as big a problem. Adding stuff to the basket is working correctly, but price totals are still not quite there. I hope to have that fixed shortly. Also, this site is primarily for wholesalers so everything is sold in bulk.
