Posting user name when comments added

Hello! What I am trying to do is this ... I am building a system that will allow multiple employees to login and manage orders. what I would like to be able to do - is that once someone has logged in - if they post any comments in the order area for example - then the order area will post that user's name.

 

For example:

 

Staff #1 logs into the system and can only access the orders

 

He then goes to order #115 and changes the status from processing to shipped.

 

I would like the comments section to then show:

 

Date Added Customer Notified Status Comments

12/07/2005 13:54:06 False Pending Updated by Staff #1

 

 

and if Staff #1 added any additional comments - then they would post next to Updated by Staff #1

anyone have any ideas - this would be utilizing the admin access module - where the users are already created and already have logins - just need to figure out how to post their name in the update status area of the site .... please help...
