Newbie! Logon as Admin and secure the A.panel

First, im newbie! :blush:

 

1 Where can i log in to Admin panel?

 

2. When im going to the adress www.site.com/catalog/admin i get access to the admin panel..

Is that the case for everybody that type the same adress?

Are the admin panel "wide open" and not protected by passwords?

 

Somethings tells me that i will be a big time user of the osC. support forum :blush: :D

Try clearing your browser cache. It may be remembering the password for you.

I wish I had your problem. I have just the opposite.

I have this same problem and clearing cache/temp internet files/etc etc doesn't affect it.

 

2nd question: If I change the name of the "catalog" to ... let's say "store" does that affect anything negatively? I just want a better looking url than www.site.com/catalog.

 

Last question: In addition to charging shipping, I want to charge a "handling fee" for each order, a flat fee... where can I put this in so that each order is charged this fee automatically?
