lilpinki Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 I have spent the last 72 hours trying to make this shopping cart work... and for someone with absolutely no experience outside of html, flash and photoshop... i think i'm doing pretty good... i have read countless threads on this forum and others about how this is supposed to properly work, but since these threads are written by people who actually know what they are talking about... FOR people who actually understand what they are talking about... i'm still completely lost... what on earth is the Paypal BN? is this my paypal user name by any chance? because there is no mention of a BN anywhere i look, so this is my first problem. Second, how do you find out if the server you are using has curl support? if it does not... does this mean i am completely screwed? i did not even start trying to figure out the next step which i am sure will be more complicated. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Quote

lilpinki Posted December 7, 2005 Author Posted December 7, 2005 I think you mean IPN - Instant Payment Notification? it could be... and i have no idea what i put there... but the error of the moment reads the following: (2040) cURL Extension Not Found... which leads me to assume that either my server does not support this cURL or that i checked the wrong box somewhere along the line... what happens if the server doesn't support this? are there any solutions outside of finding a new server?
