Separate options prices for wholesale and retail

I have installed the modification Separate Pricing per Customer on a test site.

 

It seems to work fine, except for the options boxes. Obviously, retail customers should not be getting wholesale dropdown prices and vice-versa.

 

In that my needs are rather simple, just two customer groups with the wholesale group paying 1/2 the retail price, it would seem that I could divide the default dropdown price by two if the customer is identified as a wholesale customer. ('$customer_group_id' I think is the variable.) I tried but didn't get it.

 

If someone has experimented with this problem or knows how to solve it, I would appreciate some feedback.
