help with customising home page etc

Hi,

I have installed ok, can add products ok etc, I now need help to change the logo and text etc and to add the option to pay directly into my bank account in the payments section.

can someone clever please help me?? I have NO computer knowledge at all!!

You need to give many more details before anyone can help you. It could be any number of problems.

 

To change the logo, edit includes/header.php.

it says page unavailable as soon as I log in - yet it sent me a confirmation email and everything when I registered

Use an FTP program to get the file header.php in the directory includes of your OSCommerce catalog on the webserver. If you need help on using FTP, search the web. There are plenty of helpful tutorials out there on how to use FTP.

 

Likely you have ENABLE_SSL set to true in your includes/configure.php file, but you probably don't have SSL working. If you don't have an SSL certificate, then your ENABLE_SSL line should look like this:

 

define('ENABLE_SSL', false);

 

When you get your FTP program working, download and post to this board your includes/configure.php file if changing the ENABLE_SSL line doesn't work.
