How to remove V.A.T. and New Prod. of this month ? THNX

Hi There,

 

I tried to ask this question and fix it on the dutch forums of OSCommerce too but it dindt hlp , they couldnt help me fix it.

I hope you guys can do !

 

I have 2 questions

 

1. How do I remove the VAT of my entire webshop ? Becouse ALL MY PRICES ALREADY INCLUDE VAT !

Please say/give detailed answer , thanks !

 

2. This is a hard not easy to solve prob !

Every month on the frontpage of your shop shows OSCommernce new stuff. And when you did not added new stuff he keeps showing new stuff of the past month(s)... but since december this doesnt work on my wenshop any more ! ALSO: In subcatogories he shows me older stuff and says : New stuff for december , but actually those are prodcuts of 3 months ago , how do i get this away ?

 

So ;

On the frontpage he needs to display the last added products ALWAYS

In (sub) catagories he needs to show ONLY NEW PRODUCTS FOR THAT MONTH

 

Please please help me i dont know what to do

Hello,

 

I can help you with taking off the "new_products",but I am not certain what VAT is.

 

Open up your index page in whatever editor you have and somewhere around line 313 there is a php include that looks like this "<?php include(DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); ?>"

 

Delete it and that should do the trick!

Hello,

 

Removing the tax is not very hard. For one, when you add a new poduct there is a box where you choose if it is "taxable goods" or not. In your case you would not want to leave it on taxable goods.

 

Also, when you are logged into your admin panel and go to "locations/taxes" / "tax zones" you can delete the zone that is currently there. Same thing with the "tax rate" Just delete it!

 

If you do the first step at the top then you shouldn't have to even mess the the other two.

I have a dutch layout and i really tried to find what you say ( More then 1 hour !!! ) But i really cannot find any optoin that you call to change the VAT/TAX to all the existing products to 0 %

How have you entered your prices while adding your products to the catalog ? If you keep Netto and Bruto prices the same and leave the BTW groep to none/geen you are set already.

If you did assign 19% BTW to your products through a BTW groep you can change the BTW value for that group to 0% and you should be okay also.

And make sure you have set the option 'Display Prices with Tax' in your admin->configuration to false.
