Add order ID to merchant subject line

I would like to add the order ID and last name of the customer to the order confirmatin email.

 

I know I need to alter

/catalog/checkout_process.php

and

/includes/languages/english/checkout_process.php

 

but I have not the slightest idea as to how to proceed..

 

I would like the subject line to read:

Subject: Company Name Order - Order # - Customer Last name

 

Can someone point me in the right direction as to what I need to alter in these files??

 

When making these changes, should I be able to apply the same thory to orders.php so when mails get sent about changing the order status the same info would show in those mails subject lines??
