pgmakr05 Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 So I was going to update my site and went to login and realized that the administration page for oscommerce doesn't even ask for a pw! What CHMOD or changes do I need to make to all my files to make this more secure? thx
Guest Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Change the name of your admin folder. (update config files to match) Set and .htaccess permission (usually through your host's control panel). Consider an Admin Password Contribution.
pgmakr05 Posted December 6, 2005 Author Posted December 6, 2005 I tried uploading an htaccess and htpasswd file but they didnt show up once i uplaoded them in ascii mode and the pw wasnt protected. I have no clue what to do.
