time limited subscriptions

Hi.

I would like to make my customers access pages when they have paid a subscription.

I saw there was a contribution that made it possible to show a different text to users logged in and

users that wasn't logged in.

I would like users that have paid a fee and where the time hasn't expired to see that text.

Have anyone solved this ?

Not sure if there is a contrib - but it shouldn't be too difficult to code. Only to show the text if the data attached to that customer has not been passed.

Meant to say date not data - so when a purchase is made a field in the customer table is populated with the expiry date which is checked prior to showing hidden text.

This could be useful.

But I also want them so be able to buy zip-packages.

I guess there could be a similar approach that showed a link with the zip file if that item was bought.

How could I then protect the data so that people can't guess themselves to the link.

Like www.mydomain.com/downloads/1.zip

Then a user could try www.mydomain.com/downloads/2.zip

So when a user clicks the link it could check, yes you have bought this product, now download the file.

And for those who can't are redirected to the shop page.

Hi,

Trying to accomplish something similar. On my web site, I'll have articles to download after payment has been made . This is for customers who do not wish to purchase an annual subscription, but rather need to purchase an article or 2 every so often (this is easy)

Now, some customers would like to purchase an annual subscription which would give them access to all downloads (either site-wide or certain product range). This I'm not sure how to do.

Any help would be appreciated.
