products and sub categories all showing on same page

Hi all,

 

I hope someone out there can help with this problem. I have a store set up like:

 

Cat 1

> Sub Cat 1

> Sub Cat 2

> Sub Cat 3

 

When user clicks to Cat 1, he should just see links to > Sub Cat 1, > Sub Cat 2, > Sub Cat 3.

 

But my store is showing these links PLUS 9 products contained within the Sub Cats. Here is an example page:

I am using a mod that shows category images on the home page. Do you think it could be connected to this?
