superdairyboy Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 when running a test order I can not seem to find anywhere in the admin to view the Credit card details. We do not have our SSL yet. is this why Ican view the details? Brian
Guest Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 The default credit card setup in OSCommerce will save part of the credit card number (first and last 4 numbers)in the customer order informtation and send you the other 8 interior numbers in a an email. You probably haven't installed it. You'll find it in the payment modules.
superdairyboy Posted December 4, 2005 Author Posted December 4, 2005 I have the credit card module installed. Also When I ran a test order I did not receive an E-mai confirmation Brian
AlanR Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 I have the credit card module installed. Also When I ran a test order I did not receive an E-mai confirmation Brian You need to view Admin -> Orders, select an order and click edit. You should then see the CC details on that page. To enable the split credit card option you need to go to: Modules -> Payment, then select Credit Card -> Edit and put an email address into Split Credit Card E-Mail Address. Putting an address in there enables the feature. Local: Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Apache 2.2/php 5.3.0/MySQL 5.4.10 • Web Servers: Linux Tools: BBEdit, Coda, Versions (Subversion), Sequel Pro (db management)
superdairyboy Posted December 4, 2005 Author Posted December 4, 2005 If I choose not to split the card number will it then show the whole card number in the order screen? As right now it is showing me nothing Brian
AlanR Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 If I choose not to split the card number will it then show the whole card number in the order screen? As right now it is showing me nothing Brian It should, on the left hand side: Payment Method: Credit Card Credit Card Type: Visa Credit Card Owner: test test Credit Card Number: 4111XXXXXXXX1111 Credit Card Expires: 0111 That's an example of split, without split you'll see the whole number.
