There is a contribution that assigns a seperate class to each and every box but if you are wanting to just change one then that is probably overkill and manually adding one extra class is probably simpler The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? I do not have a set of osC files that I can look at here but I believe you will find the file for the cat box at includes/boxes/category.php The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.
