flea Posted December 1, 2005 Share Posted December 1, 2005 i want to use html tags and css in some product fields such as product description. but i think some characters are converted to html special chars when easypopulate inserts data into the database. for example <p class="class1"> becomes <p class="class1"> when i checked with phpMyAdmin, which is really not what i wanted. where does the conversion happen? is this caused by easypopulate or by some tep_ functions? how do i get around this? is it advisable to do this, will there be adverse effects if i turn off the conversion? thanks in advance!!
