Sheldon
Can some please tell me how to reset my username and password for my admin panel?
mr.e-man
I'm new to osCommerce, but I don't believe this is an osCommerce specific question. From what I've seen so far, the password to the admin area is controlled within your hosting plan, not anything with osCommerce. You'll notice the .htaccess file under the /admin directory. I'd recommend deleting that file, then go in to your hosting plan control panel and password protect the /admin directory all over again. Let us know what happens. The .htaccess file is for my hosting account not my osCommerence administrator page. The oscommerce admin page is used to enter products, setup payment, etc. thanks for answering. Sheldon. Is your catalog working? If so then you need to make sure that you have added the database info to your admin/includes/configure.php file. If your catalog is not working either then you also need to check and make sure that your database user has been assigned to the database as that will also give that error message. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
