virtualend
Help! I'm a web designer, new to osCommerce, but have some experience with shopping cart systems. I am having one heckuva time with setting up a client / friends osCommerce store in time for Christmas. I have moved the web site to a new server - used Miva previously. We need just a basic band-aid fix for the shipping options even - just to go live for X-Mas. It can be fixed more later, if needed. No time, and I'm too stoopid to figure out how to get it all configured "korrectly" B4 XMas, but customer would love to go live with the following minimal steps by yesterday.... I am sleepless and frustrated and have read everything possible, but we are very late and need to get back online live ASAP. I can't find where to just post a "shipping charges will be added to order at our cost" note before the checkout. Way too complicated to put in real weights and costs for now.... Any help with setup tips greatly appreciated, and offers for extremely reasonable consulting or setup help would be considered as well. There is much to php and OSC that is still over my head. And PLEASE - only helpful advice or offers to help. I have seen many smart-assed replies from self-indulged geeks on this forum that have made me reluctant to even post here. To those who's ears are burning as you read this - go bother your little sister... I don't have the time or energy to waste on it. To the real osCommerce wizzes out their....
