Mod To allow Cash Cheques to be taken

Hi Folks

 

Does anyone Know of a mod that can be used to let people order and then send a cheque in or pay cash direst into the bank.

There's already a Check/Money Order module within the default osCommerce. There's also a contribution for Store Pickup, and there's a default module for Cash On Delivery.

on a similiar note, how can you change the text that says "

Your order will not ship until we receive payment." at the bottom of payments method?

 

ive looked but i cant find it :(

I could tell you where to find it, but if you're going to be working with osCommerce I reckon it's better if I tell you how to find it yourself.

 

You need a good text editor, and I would recommend Text Pad (free download). Once you've installed it then make sure you have a copy of all the osCommerce files in a folder on your computer and then use the "Find In Files" feature of Text Pad to search all files in osCommerce for whichever set of words you are looking for. You're going to need this to work with osCommerce.

Ok, i think i get it :) so i can just serach for any text string in any file in the folder using text pad and it will find it? Cool!! beats spending all day (like today) trying to change two words!!
