kirchenbauer
Do you happen to use America Online? There is some sort of issue with AOL that is resolved by changing some settings in your Configuration. If you go to your Admin Control Panel under Configuration and Sessions, these settings should be set to FALSE: Force Cookie Use Check SSL Session ID Check User Agent ID Check IP Address Without changing those settings, AOL users will continue getting the log in screen. ozcsys
No I dont' use AOHELL. Check it out. you can't check out items. http://www.friendsofbilljewelry.com/catalog Any suggestions? It is most likely your cookie path in your includes/configure.php file I would post the file here (minus the database username and password) and somebody may be able to see what is wrong. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right?? kirchenbauer
I just set up an account and tested it. I added something to my cart, set up an account, and then it said my cart is empty. When I added an item again, both items were in the cart. I clicked "checkout" and got the login screen, just as you had said. Did you check those 4 items to make sure they are set to "false"? Here is what that looks like under my configs. Almost everything is set to false.
kirchenbauer
My setting for "Recreate Session" is set to "TRUE". Do you want to try changing yours to see if that is the problem?

Thanks ozcsys for that. I had a similar problem and found that I'd missed the www. on my SSL cookie path. all seems fine now, at the moment anyway :)

kirchenbauer
Have you installed any contributions? The only things that I know to check are the ones that I mentioned. I'm sorry. Try posting your config file here, as ozcsys suggested (but blank out your ID and Password).
