twhiteside
After several hours of research, I've found several references, but no REAL directions. chmod means absolutely nothing to me. Can anyone give me directions (really blonde ones) on how to do this? Thanks!

I log into my admin account on my host server and change it through the permissions options for the specific file that you want to change.
sticky
Connect to the web server with your FTP program and right-click the specific file in question. You should get the option to change the "permissions"/"CHMOD" for the file. What is chmod? chmod is a Unix command that lets you tell the system how much (or little) access it should permit to a file.
twhiteside
Thanks, guys. Now what does this mean? "You need to .htaccess your /catalog/admin directory so that it is password protected. You can use the password manager in your server admin area like cpanel."
