ameritone Posted November 30, 2005 Share Posted November 30, 2005 Hi, I am trying to find a contribution that will help me add an extra fee at checkout for a specific product only. If a customer chooses the product and wants it to be engraved: 1. Is there a contribution that will allow me to have the customer select an engraving option for that product and then if they do it adds $25 extra to the order at checkout. 2. and, I need to have them input the text that they want engraved, I guess I could alert the customer to use the "add comments" box at chekout but I certainly need a contribution that will add a fee if they choose engraveing thanks in advacne to anyone who can help, may be someone has this already thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you are using Easy Populate to load your products, the fields are already there for you. If you are not, then just go into the admin area and go to Catalog/ Product Attributes. The first field you would put what the customer would see (ie Engraving) Then the second are you would define Engraving with Yes and No. Then in the thrid area you would find the product you offer engraving on, choose it from the list, choose engraving from the next list, choose yes, then put in 25 under price.
