mydoggie
How do you handle shipping within the US but also to Canada and International. I want to use the table rate I have set for US customers and charge a little extra for Canada and International customers. How do you do it on your site? I was thinking about adding $3.00 for Canada residents and $7.00 for international residents. Any suggestions....and how would I do it this way? Also, is there a way to charge local residents? Instead of them paying the table rate, I'd like them to pay less because obviously it won't be $7.00 to ship something within the same city. imran_ali
hello use following contribution for making any number of table rates as you want. You should create different table rates for different countries. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...71/page,3 (Extra Table Rates;;it works fine****)

Use the zones module which has several enhancements which you can find within the contributions section. Works about the same as the table rate module and is very flexible as you can define as many zones as you need to work with. As for your comment on charges to local residents I suppose that depends on which shipping provider you use for that. If I use our USPS it's the same price for shipping to the other end of our country as shipping to my neighbour if I don't feel to bring him the package myself :D
