Jack_mcs Posted November 30, 2005 Share Posted November 30, 2005 There are three basic ways to change the design: 1 - Simple Template System (STS) - easy and quick but slows down shop 2 - Basic Template System (BTS) - much more difficult to work with but allows more control. Also makes installing contributions more difficult since the code layout doesn't always match that mentioned in the contribution. 3 - Change the files. This is the hardest way but provides the best compatibility and speed. If you run into problems you can ask on the forums but you will probably get better and quicker help if uou ask in the support thread for the contribution you are having trouble with.
