osCommerce

The e-commerce.

Orders are not showing up anywhere

Apparently orders go through without problems, but OSCommerce isn't getting the order somehow. They don't show up under orders. Customers sign up and their info is saved, but not their order info. The only way I know an order is placed is when Linkpoint lets me know.

What is happening here?

I am having the same problem but with paypal. I get payment but no order goes through the site.

My is with Linkpoint. I wander if this problem are related. The client's credit is approved for the amount of things they order but the orders are not returned to OS(my site) to be log so I know what they ordered. It is happens 20 % of the time and that is very frustrating. I know the client ordered something but do not know what. Thanks for your fast input.

Hello everyone, having the exact same issue here.

A customer places an order and we get the payment thru PayPal, (that's how we find out the and order was placed) but no order appears in the store which makes the item still In-Stock. Anyone knows a solution for this?

I am willing to co-cork to solve this issue. Thank you for you time and effort.

I just found out what my problem was after working on it for a while. Just to let anyone who is experiencing the same problem. It is not with osCommerce. It is with the page where I put the url for the Confirmation Page ("Thank You" Page URL) after the Credit card has been approved that is the error. Just make sure that it return to the right page on your website and the product will be logged correctly. I am sure it is the same with Pay pal. Also check the url for the Failure Page ("Sorry" Page URL) in LinkPoint Connection settings in "Customization". Good luck.

Do you use a shared SSL ?

I am, and I am having the same problem.

What happens is after the purchase is confirmed by my gateway processor, the customer pointed to arrive at checkout_process.php for both the approved and declined purchases. Unfortunately, with my test orders, I am getting kicked out of osCommerce and being asked to login again.

I know it has to do with using a shared SSL and cookies but I can't figure out what.

Any help is appreciated.
