♥kymation
You're asking the browser to resize the image for you. This is a Really Bad Idea. Use good quality images that are the correct size to start with. Your images will look professional and your customers will be happy. guddipy
Nice one for your help kymation. Great contribution. guddipy
Oh crap, I was replying at the same time you did. What I did was add a size restriction the following element $large_image_string .= tep_image (DIR_WS_IMAGES . $main_image, '', '', '', 'name="MainImage" class="productsMainImage"') . "\n"; You saying this is not a good thing? Urgh just managed to get it exactly the way I wanted it aswel lolz. You saying its not good idea? What bad effect does it have? Reload time/Loading time? Extra query? Stress on server load? Will it be that bad?
♥kymation
No, the images will look bad in some browsers. And maybe slow loading as well. It's much better to keep the images their original size. But do whatever works for you. Regards Jim Quote See my profile for a list of my addons and ways to get support.

It wont thumbnail itself into the box to display all the images in correct proportions. Or will it just mess up like in the standard osc box "stretched"

But offcourse I dont want to use the pop up and have it on red flag. Dont like it showing the options when it will go no where and do nothing. Do you know where I go to take the hyperlink option away?
♥kymation
The images will get "stretched" or distorted, or will look grainy or discolored. Browsers are getting better at this, but rezsized images will never be as good as the original. Also, you're sending the original image to the browser, so you are getting the download hit for the full-size image. This is why I recommend that the Image Box be at the bottom of the page, so it won't slow the loading of the rest of the page. You could change Mouse Operation to onClick, so that arrow has something to do. Regards Jim Quote See my profile for a list of my addons and ways to get support. But do whatever works for you. Regards Jim Yup you are right, just checked and it is doing exactly as you said. I would really like the option of uploading an image and it will do it automatically. Rather than creating extra work to do of resizing all the images, everytime I want to put some up. Hmmm? I am going to try something and you can let me know if it is safe to do so or not and if it worked.
guddipy
Hiya, I tried to add one of the thumbnail contribution but only got so far. The pictures in the boxes when loading page got resized automatically perfect and fitted into the box as I was looking for. But when I then hovered over the small thumbnails to show the different pictures the messed up again. So seems it only worked when loading the initial page other than that it messed up. So I take it there is no way possible to have the pictures thumbnail into the correct sizes in the boxes without having to resize every single picture, everytime?? This may be possible, but it will take a bit of work. There is very little documentation for the functions that I need to use, so I'll have to experiment. Don't expect this any time really soon. KeyserSöze
Hi all, I am a bit lost today. The other day I installed morepics and had the multiple pics available with mouse over etc. However, today I did another install of it and somehow its not working. I do see the product image when you have all the products listed below eachother, but if I then click on one product no picture is shown at all. I dont know what I do different compared to the other day. Settings are standard install settings. Played around with them, but it didnt change things. Of course I have multiple pics uploaded. Thanks in advance for any hints. cs

Redtail
I just installed this contribution and it works great. Was wondering if there is a mod that will allow sub directories for images that will work with this. The few I found appers to work with the older versions of more pics. Am I correct in thinking this.

Guest
Thanks - I do not see index.php as a file to change - so where does More Pics handle the New Product images for the main page of the cart? See the readme.txt in the distribution for instructions. Regards Jim
