orders not showing in admin panel

I have just had a customer buy an item from my store. The paypal payment went through ok but when I logged onto the admin panel there were no details of the purchase listed in "orders". There are details of the new customer in the "customer list". Has anyone had this problem. or is it me!!!!!

Asistance required please

Go to your Pay Pal account and turn on the Auto-Return feature. Without that being turned on you are totally dependent upon a customer hitting the 'Continue' button at the end of their Pay Pal payment and being returned to your site. If they don't return you get no record of the order and no confirmation e-mails are sent out.


Alternatively install the official osCommerce Pay Pal IPN module, which pre-saves the basket and does not need the auto-return feature.
