Protx Forms + Free Shipping = Postcode Errors

Recommended Posts

We have a problem with the latest version of the Protx Forms module.

We are using flat rate shipping with the Order Total configured to give free shipping over ?60.

This all works fine.

We have an item that we wish to give free shipping on and so we reduced the weight of the item to 0. Whilst this works fine as far as osCommerce is concerned when we try to pay the Protx forms server complains that no postcode has been provided.

The error only occurs when we buy the single zero weight item. Buying it with another item charges shipping as expected, buy several items and qualify for free shipping and everything is fine.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

I don't know if this is down to the way OSC handles the free shipping item and Mike Jacksons basket description enhancement to the Protx Forms module. The enhancement is great, our customers get a full description of their purchases rather than a description of the store. I just wonder if the code for adding the shipping charge to the description is getting confused by the way OSC has populated shipping for the zero weight item?

Any help greatly appreciated.
