Urgent help please!

We've have our site running smotthly for almost two years:

www.shopscotties.com

Today however I logged on from a different location due to being gone from the office for Thanksgiving week, this computer had some weird password save thingy, so it tried logging in using a different password.

Obviously I got locked out, and thinking I could enter my own password, I tried again, and then the entire site crashed.

I can get into the cpanel, but if I try the website OR the admin I get the following

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'scotties_osc8@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/scotties/public_html/shop/includes/functions/database.php on line 19

Unable to connect to database server!

I also tried from a totally different computer with the CORRECT user name and password and got the same thing.

This is one of our busiest weeks of the year, so any help would be hugely appreciated

That seems very drastic.. I'm not sure I'd even know how to go about that..

This seems like such a simple fix, but it's eluding me...

If the WRONG password is "YES", where would it have stored this incorrect password attempt?

go yo your cpanel or whatever

click sql databases

add user for your shop database

grant the user permissions

open includes/configure.php

line 39

define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME','db username');

(Using password: YES) this means a password was used not that the password was YES

you do not need to delete anything in your databases!

Ok

go yo your host control panel

click on my sql databases

scroll down to the bottom and create a new sql user.

then grant all permissions for your shop database.

then edit admin/includes/configure.php

and includes/configure

change the db username and passwords. download the files and edit in an editor dont do them online.

now your shop will attempt to connect to your sql with this login info

and all should be fine

Can anyone help me...Also urgent...

I posted a message up last night relating to a stylesheet (I believe) issue in relation to my website www.thebargaincellar.co.uk losing the formatting on the products pages...

I know no-one has responded to my post yet and this is quit important...

The site still functions but has got to plop in regard to the product pages etc-anywhere a few clicks from the home page...

Please help as i do not have a clue what has caused this
