Problem with SSL, when SSL is on and I checkout using Paypal payment option - everything works fine till I press "return to merchant" button in paypal. it looses session id and gives me the login screen. The payment gets processed through paypal but order does not get created in oscommerce.

Anybody have similar problem? Any ideas?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I have SSL and paypal and it does work, I would look at paypal code or install it again.

Also look at "View Source" of the code before it goes to paypal.

Same issue here with shared SSL. It works "sometimes" if you force paypal to redirect back to your "checkout_success.php" page.

I've installed the Paypal IPN and the results have been better. "sometimes" has turned into "most of the time".

checkout_success didnt do it for me, but checkout_process does 99% of the time(I think it is checkout process), But I know that success failed numerous times.

but I have ssl and it does work fine, I agree there may be an issue with a line or 2 of code somewhere.

Hope ya get it!

"The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.
