SSL problem

Recommended Posts

Ive managed to set the two configure.php files to what they should be and most of the site works fine, so does admin.

It only shows http:// in the address though. If I try and enter the site using https:// I get a 'The page cannot be displayed' page. Im guessing the SSL lock should only be present when im in the checkout section?

If I click on 'my account' or 'checkout' I again get the 'The page cannot be displayed' page.

Does anyone know what might be happening?

Here are the configure files.

catalog/includes/configure.php

// Define the webserver and path parameters

// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://triplextoy.co.uk');

define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.triplextoy.co.uk');

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://triplextoy.co.uk');

define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true'); // secure webserver for catalog module

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', $DOCUMENT_ROOT); // where your pages are located on the server. if $DOCUMENT_ROOT doesnt suit you, replace with your local path. (eg, /usr/local/apache/htdocs)

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/catalog/admin/');

define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_ADMIN);

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/catalog/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_CATALOG);

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_MODULES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'includes/modules/');

define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'backups/');

Hope someone can help!

Many Thanks

Have you even purchased an SSL certificate and had it configured on the server. You may need the SSL directory linked to your main web root, but I can see no signs of a SSL cert installed.
