Hi demodude,

go to your /iadmin/includes/configure.php file and at the bottom of the file will have your database info.

It's a good time to store your password somewhere safe.

What do you see when you open up the tep_database-pr2.2-CVS.pdf file that came with your osCommerce download?

I have this password, I need the password for the admin section to log in as admin.

But thanks for this tip as well

in the db when I look at the info it shows this as password value:

'7bda12b8f250a1f354abea782f8f0f02:de'

and I assume this is where normally the PW is?

LOL

If you password protected your admin directory, then you'll need to reset that from your cpanel.

I guess I am explaining something wrong.

What I am missign is the ADMIN password to log in to the STORE itself the OSCOMMERCE STORE.

I need the password for the STORE ONLY !!!!

when you go in your store to admin and the store askes for the admin to log in to work with the store, like orders store settings add products and categories and so on.

Sorry if I explained it a little wrong.

I believe your answer is listed in post no#2 & no#4.

If you go to /iadmin/ directory and it asks you for a password, then you need to get to your cpanel and retrieve your password for that directory or you simply need to reset the password for that directory, from your cpanel.

.....and if all of the above FAILS,,, you should ask your host.

Kevin

Oh... before I forget...... "write down your password and store it in a safe place"
