I searched through the blog and it seemed like there are alot of bugs in this contrib but most of the posts are outdated. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Jay The original and the contribution vertions only checks that the correct number and number series are inputed. If you want more validation, the the maximind contribution gives you a lot of info about customers who have purchased with credit cards , ip, location, bank id and so on... If you want to truly validate if its a valid credit card with funds available , you will need to sign up for a merchant account and get a real time processing payment gateway contribution for your cc payments. I'm not sure if I'm calling what I want to do the right thing?? I have real time processing with my credit card company but I still want to add a box to capture the 2-4 digit number on the back of the credit card. Maybe it's not called credit card validation I'm not sure. In any case even though I have real time credit card processing in today's world the perception by the customer is that if you are not asking for this information at checkout that you are not possibly a questionable website which is why i want to add it. any thoughts?
