Need UPS to be customer selected res or com

I am setting up the UPS module and noticed a big red flag.

Seller must choose residential or commercial shipping up front for all customers. This is not going to work well since our customers are a mixture. When we ship here with the worldship program, we enter residential or commercial depending upon what the customer tells us. How can I get oscommerce to display radio buttons to let the customer choose residential or commercial at the time of checkout? I could choose residential and overcharge our commercial customers, but that is not acceptable because we sometimes ship very large orders (hundreds of pounds) to commercial customers. Any Ideas out there????
