Guest Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Our site is working so well, we're out of stock for the whole of two categories! I don't want to delete the items that are out of stock, as we will get some more soon, but i would like to hide the Category, so people don't waste a click looking at an empty list. Would welcome any ideas. I'm not great with php, but can rummage thru code a bit.
Guest Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Leave it up for their browsing and make use of the Product Notification feature. You'll also want to keep search engines prowling the entire site and you don't want them to miss out. I use product Notifications to prioritize my production plans. You'd be surprised at how many sales are just waiting for you! There's even a Contribution to that function that shoots them an email instantly when you add more to stock!
