Help ANYONE Please !!!

Before I start please let me appologise for posting this here as at strictly belongs in the contribution section. Despite my best efforts no has replied to my post there and im getting VERY desperate to get this sorted !

 

Here goes:

 

I want to add a message/text box so that the customer can add a message for a card that they order. Therefore I have added the contrinbution Option Yype v1.71 and have nearly cracked it bar one thing.

 

In the admin panel I have created a Product Option called Message with a text area Option Type and added it to the desired product in Product Attributes. When I view the product in my store the 'Message' attribute displays as a drop down box with no values. I have tried changing the Product Option to Text but with the same result.

 

This proving a real show stopper and I need to sorted this very soon, so if anyone can help me out or suggest another contribution that adds textbox/area attribtues to a product I would be most gratetful.

 

Any ideas ?

Did you

 

1) add the products_options_values_name TEXT with products_options_values_id of 0 to your products_options_values table?

 

2) add the attribute to the product using the Products Attributes page in Admin? you need to add text options to products from that page and make sure you select TEXT (reserved for TEXT only attributes) as the option value

Still can't get this blinky contribution to work !!!!
