modifying product attributes

the store that I am working for wants to sell picture frames. naturally an 8x10 is goign to cost a little more than a 5x7. I showed him the option of using the product attributes to say "8x10 (+1.00)" in the drop down box. However, he wants it to read the actual price of the 8x10. So instead of saying (+1.00) it should just say "8x10 - $5.99" or whatever it comes to.

can anyone help me do this? i would like to use the built in function of adding a certain amount to the base price but just not show it on the drop down list.

I'm sure there must be a line of code that displays the "(+$1.00)". if anyone can tell me what file and what line number i could find this in that would be a HUGE help.

Thanks in advance.

im going to give it a go.

thanks!

actually that other contrib is a bit confusing to install. I went with the one you suggested and it seems to work perfect.

thanks again!
