new installation; questions from a newbie

Hi.

I've just installed os commerce onto my existing site, and have newbie questions.

 

1. How do I put a background image into the main part of the cart?

 

2. What link can I use to add products directly to the cart, going from existing static pages,

and bypassing the index page?
