Can't see modules in Admin section

Hi,

 

I have another, "its fine on my local machine but not on the server problem"!

 

When I go the admin section of my hosted site and select modules, all I the list is blank. The filepath to the modules folders is being displayed correctly, and those folders exist and contain various modules.

 

I've checked my configure.php files and all seems to be ok. I thought it may be file permissions but they are all set 644 which i think should be ok.

 

I'm at a complete loss now and would appreciate any help.
