rhjyyz Posted November 13, 2005 Share Posted November 13, 2005 Hi! OS Commerce looks to be great! I will be selling unique collectibles in my own e-store. All inventory is unique (quantity =1). I currently sell on various online marketplaces and sometimes there is a lag in updating my catalogs on all sites which results in a fill rate of less than 100%. I would like to offer cc processing on my site but I need to have the ability to have the credit card authorized before charging (pending?) so that I can confirm the item is still available (in hand) in which case I can either cancel the order before charging the customer or proceed with the transaction and have the card charged. I would also need the abilty to adjust the transaction total in the event I have a substitute product (not yet listed in catalog,but in warehouse)at a lower/higher price than the original item. Can these things be done and if so, where may I go to see documentation? (Or which contribution(s) should I look into?) I have no knowlege of coding so I want to keep customization to a minimum in the beginning and slowly learn on the curve! Thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
