Diaz
HELP Please... I have uploaded lots of pictures to my site but noticed when I batch converted the files to a smaller kb they all got changed from .JPG to .jpg. I did not know that this made a difference but it does  Can someone tell me what I can do to rectify this and save me a few hours work manually editing each item in the ADMIN section. :( Thanks in advance.. kwalker
Diaz, Did the actual files extention change or just the references of the files or both? Kevin Diaz, I'm just a few hours into setting up the cart, but I would imagine you could export the table that has the extention changes. Then open it up in Excel or some other program and do a "find/replace", then reupload. I've used other .php carts before and I'm sure it can be done. GraphicsGuy
I have uploaded lots of pictures to my site but noticed when I batch converted the files to a smaller kb they all got changed from .JPG to .jpg. What program did you use to batch process them? If it was Photoshop you could simply change the batch process to save it with the .JPG rather than .jpg. Then just upload them again. To change the extension format in a Photoshop batch process, at the bottom part of the automation dialog in the file naming portion, it defaults to "extension" but you can alternatively choose "EXTENSION" from the list. This will cause it to save them with all caps in the extension. hth Rule #1: Without exception, backup your database and files before making any changes to your files or database. Rule #2: Make sure there are no exceptions to Rule #1.
