kwalker
Hello all, I've just installed the osc from my web site and everything went ok without a hitch... One problem for me though. I can not for the love of all find where I am to login to administer the store. Can someone help me? mark27uk3
Hi Kevin, Depending on where you have installed your store to is dependant on the admin login. If you have installed your store in the root folder then it maybe www.yourstore.com/admin or if you have installed it in the box standard form then it will be www.mystore.com/catalog/admin I hope this helps. Mark Mark, thanks for your quick reply. I have it installed in my root folder. But when I type in /iadmin/index.php I get this error: Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in /home/cemetery/domains/cemetery-headstones.com/public_html/iadmin/includes/classes/upload.php on line 31 I was getting the same error when I had it installed in /oscommerce/. The store page loads, and the links seem to be working ok, but not the admin section. Thanks for your valued time. mark27uk3
Hi Kevin, It sounds like you are using PHP5, this has been discussed loads of times. If you search the forum you will find more posts about it. I have taken this from another post for you to try: There are a number of posts to cover this. I have the same problem. The posts state: Check your etc/php.ini file to check if global_register is set to 'on' If you are using PHP5 goto catalog/admin/includes/classes/upgrade.php line 31 $this = null and change it to unset($this). It did not work for me. I had to install it manually but give it a try Give it a go and see what happens, but make sure you keep a backup of all files changed. Mark I've went to the folder as stated, but there is no upgrade.php file in there. In the meantime, I've contacted my web host to make sure my global setting are on. I really like this cart system. I'm excited to get it rolling. mark27uk3
Hi Kevin, I should have read what I posted more carefully, the file you need to change is admin/includes/classes upload.php not upgrade!
