kwitesane
Hello i'm actually new to Oscommerce and i have a little problem. I've installed the oscommerce software and I get constantly the following message. Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /customers/audiomania.se/audiomania.se/httpd.www/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file Can someone tell me how do i change this configuration? I know that i have to do the following: Reset the permissions on catalog/includes/configure.php to 644 (if you are still getting the warning message at the top of the page after setting this configure.php files to 644 then set the catalog/includes/configure.php file to 444 which is read only - this happens on some servers that have been updated for security reasons). How do i do this? I dont have that much knowledge of php yet. Can someone give me an example on how they do it, it would be much appreciated. Madinson
it depends to your FTP-Tool. You have to change the CHMOD of the files on the server. 777 means everybody has the right to write/read and execute the file. Normally you ?should make a right click?at the file...while using your ftp-tool. try SmartFTP http://www.zdnet.de/downloads/prg/6/6/de0D66_is-wc.html just create...and sell..sell...sell.....
