SSL installation

I have a osCommerce website that it hosted by an outside company. I used HSBC secure

e-payments and hence do not need high level of security as all paymeny details go through them.

I still what I ssl for customers peace of mind. But dont want to spend a fortune.

I have purchased a rapidssl from ssl247.co.uk (?39.00) which is quite aduaquate for what I need.

My hosting company wants to charge ?200.00 to install this. Surely I could do this myself.

Any help would be much apprecaited.

If it were me I move hosts to one that has shared SSL included in the hosting package. Too bad you already paid for a cert that you cannot install.

Do you have Cpanel as your administration for your hosting? If so you also need a dedicated IP address with that SSL and then you can use the SSL manager to install.
