I edited some of the text on the main page but I cant seem to find the file that I edited on my system and I have been search the files on my webhost for an hour now to no avail. I am simply wanting to change the text field in the middle of my store to let people know we are now online with it and taking orders. GraphicsGuy Posted November 11, 2005 Share Posted November 11, 2005 If it is appearing on the main page, it is most likely in the TEXT_MAIN define in: /catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php or if it is in another language, then look in the index.php of the appropriate language folder. If it isn't there, then did you hard code it into /catalog/index.php (NOTE: if your store is installed in the root level of the domain, then just omit the /catalog part of the above references.) Rule #1: Without exception, backup your database and files before making any changes to your files or database. Rule #2: Make sure there are no exceptions to Rule #1.
