M-Pro
This stores been live and trading for a few months now. The overall design is pretty much as required by the retailer. I have done over 200 changes to the functionality of the site, many based on integrating contributions, which have been an ennormous help to fasttrack development. Most contributions had to be integrated with each other and many provided a large % of the functionality I wanted but had to be developed further. (Hopefully if time allows I'll reverse engineer some of the better ones into the standard osC code to isolate and test the changes, prior to uploading them to the contributions site). The retailer still has a mountain of work to do loading more products and cleaning up product descriptions and product images. I have been a little disppointed with sales since live, but I am pretty sure this is due to prices being a little too high and too many products shown as out of stock (which can be off putting). Both of which I am discussing with the retailer to resolve. I don't think it is due to usability issues - but perhaps I am too close to this development ?. So feedback on usability (rather than colour scheme or products) would be a great help The Store Thanks .... M-Pro

MarthaD
A lot of unnecessary javascripted "effects", which by the way, cause an error as soon as you open the site. Not a great way to build customer confidence?
M-Pro
A lot of unnecessary javascripted "effects", which by the way, cause an error as soon as you open the site. Not a great way to build customer confidence? Wow, thanks for having a look aejeffor & MarthaD. I agree errors are off putting, but I am surprised as its been tested using recent versions of Netscape, Firefox, IE and Safari, plus AOL - all OK. What browser (including version) are you using ??. Overtime, adding yet another animated message or scrolling product display - you are right, it is too cluttered - some tidying up to do. Thanks M-Pro
